Springform Pans
Smaller-sized springform pans offer convenience, efficiency, and versatility, making them ideal tools for cooking for two people. They enable you to create delicious meals with just the right amount of food while minimizing waste and maximizing flavor.
These pans are also versatile enough to accommodate a wide range of recipes. From cakes and pies to savory dishes like quiches and lasagna, they offer flexibility in meal options for two.
Cooking with a smaller springform pan also requires less time and energy compared to larger pans, as they heat up quickly and evenly, ensuring efficient cooking and baking processes.
Overall, we tested MANY different sizes of pans to determine the perfect sizes to recommend. In general, we believe 4.5-inch and 6-inch pans are the ideal size, the first for individual-sized recipes like cottage pie and the slightly larger size for shareable recipes like Manicotti Pie.
One last note: these are the best options, but choices are limiting, as most springform pans are for larger sizes that just don’t work when cooking for two. It’s a pity that there aren’t nicer options made by more reputable brands (yet).

4.5-inch Springform Pans

Top Pick
We found this Cuisinart 4.4-Inch Non-stick Springform Pan to be the perfect size. 4-inch pans are just ever-so-too-small and 5-inch just a tad too big. This is the only in-between version we could find and it really is the perfect size.
In addition, these pans are well made with heavy-gauge steel construction that provides even heating, a premium nonstick interior and exterior for easy release and cleanup, andthick rolled edges that prevent warping.
6-Inch Springform Pans

Top Pick
The HIWARE 6-inch Non-stick Springform has a non-stick coating that doesn’t include any harsh chemicals or hazardous substances, is heat-resistant up to 450°F (super important!), and a durable stainless steel springform buckle which makes it easy to switch and difficult to crack or break.

Full disclosure: this is likely the same product as the HIWARE we also feature. We bought both, looked at them side-by-side, and tested them with the same recipe (Manicotti Pie). We didn’t see any differences between the two.
At the time we reviewed these (May 2024), this version was priced slightly (and we mean slightly) lower than the HIWARE version.
